Well, it had to be the T-1000 in the end - my first fave Terminator movie (until Dark Fate). Runner-up: the original Hulk.

Shapeshifting - a very specific theme, but not easy to box in. Any character who can change their shape at will (or less voluntarily, in the case of werewolves, or the Hulk, for example). The kind of shape doesn't matter, or how many different shapes they can assume.

Of course werewolves count. Assuming different forms (like Star Trek's Q) isn't exactly it, and neither is regeneration (like Doctor Who). Of course Odo from Deep Space Nine totally counts, though, and so does the Terminator T1000, and Pennywise from IT, and all Yashou from Guardian. Transformers count as well, imho, their shapeshifting is just mechanical instead of magical.

I'm not sure that the vampires from the Buffyverse count, since they "only" shift their teeth and foreheads, but... I'm tempted to let them count, too? Similar considerations apply to the angels from Lucifer. Is manifesting wings the same as shapeshifting? But Lucifer himself has a devil-face, so I guess he would count? Same for Mazikeen, I think. What about the Hexenbiests on Grimm? I would allow all of them. As you can see, it's not a cut-and-dry decision, but as long as part of the character's body changes shape, I'd say it counts.
