A magical challenge! \o/ This challenge is only about fictional characters (the one with real persons was "magicians"). It's the counterpart to the "witch" challenge, and as such is aimed at male characters. As with all our nominally gendered challenges, non-binary/non-gendered characters are allowed in this challenge!
Fictional wizards means characters who *use* magic - what I wouldn't include is fairies/magical creatures with one particular magical ability that isn't as versatile as the multitude of spells I associate with "magic users". But if you have something/someone special in mind, comment here and we'll figure it out.
Have fun!

Date: 2023-06-20 08:03 pm (UTC)I'd say they'd even count if they only had one element, provided the way they manipulate the elements is versatile and somehow "learned". Does that make sense?

Date: 2023-06-21 10:27 am (UTC)Aang was born as Airbender but since he was the Avatar he had to go to the Water Tribe, Earth Kingdrom and Fire Nation to learn more about those bending skills. He was still able to bend those elements but, for exmaple, hurt Katara (from the Water Tribe) once by accident because he wasn't able to control Firebending.
He doesn't have something like a wand but those bending power is still inside him. If you know "Fantastic Beast" you can compare Aang to Credence who has magical powers inside him and doesn't need any wand to use this power. (Seeing the icons made me think he could also be like Merlin. That fandom is so long again that I don't know if he needed something like a wand or could also use them without any item.)

Date: 2023-06-22 07:31 am (UTC)i don't think being a magic user depends on whether they need a tool (like a wand) for it or not. I'd categorize it by the learning of different spells/jutsus/skills.
in case it wasn't clear: i would consider the *-benders eligible.
