Challenge 193: UNESCO World Heritage

- Laponian Area, Sweden
Lapporten [Swedish], meaning "The Lapponian Gate" in English, or Čuonjávággi in Northern Sami for "Goose Valley". U-shaped valley located just outside of Abisko National Park in Lapland. Popular icon-ic ;) motif to symbolise entry to this region.

- The Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, USA
I'm not one for much sun and bathing, but this looked like a wonderful area.

- Ancient City of Tauric Chersonese and its Chora, Ukraine
It's amazing how many old monuments are still around, and to imagine people having lived there for so long.

Ooop, I hope these make it, I looked at the timer wrong! I wish I could visit these three and so many more in the UNESCO list, but foremost it was really hard to pick something other than the first one that I am slightly more familiar with. A fun and challenging challenge! :)

Ooop, I hope these make it, I looked at the timer wrong!

I'm in Germany so we're both the same time zone. :o) Feel free to let me know next time so I can leave it open for a little bit longer. :o) I usually post when I wake up again.
